Anointed opens Estate Work Out Memo Riddim with “Git It Weh, ” and that tune gives the whole 2012 Digitalize Records set its shape: lean, hard-edged dancehall with just enough space for the vocals to bite through. Digital Sham’s “Fuck Yo” pushes the riddim into more abrasive territory, while Kos Bella’s “Position” keeps the heat on with a sharper, more swaggering run over the same bare-bones pattern. Digitalize had already been working that name in 2012, and this one feels cut from the same cloth as Memo, only rougher around the edges, with the instrumental doing most of the talking by the close.
