Erotic Riddim – Young Lion Entertainment

Out of the 2021 dancehall wave, Erotic Riddim feels like one of those little UK-curated projects that catches your ear because it’s so direct: just five cuts, a tight handful of voices, and a title that matches the flirtatious, cheeky tone of the songs. Young Lion Entertainment keeps the focus on the performers, with Doza Medicine’s “Entanglement” getting the kind of double treatment dancehall fans know well, clean and raw, while Highclowd’s “Bruk Di Pole” pushes the more openly raunchy side of the riddim and Real Ikon’s “Skin Clean” lands in that same playful pocket. Willpower’s “Who Me” rounds it out with a sharper, no-nonsense turn, and the whole set runs lean at about 15 minutes, which suits the pace just fine. There’s not much fat on it, and that’s part of the charm.
