Emergency Riddim – Precision Productions

Emergency Riddim comes in like a tight little Carnival package: four tracks, all carrying that bright, urgent soca charge Precision Productions was pushing in 2013. Destra Garcia’s “Mash Up” feels like the obvious crowd mover, all attitude and big-room energy, while Teddyson John’s “Backa” gives the riddim a slicker, more melodic pull. DJ HP’s “Maddd Again” and Fya Empress’ “We Ready” keep the pace brisk, with the whole set leaning hard into St. Lucia, Trinidad and the wider Eastern Caribbean circuit. Precision had already been working that regional lane, and this one landed right in the middle of the summer-carnival run, with the official release dated June 24, 2013.
