ELEVATE RIDDIM produced by STINGRAY RECORDS 2023
Elevate Overview
The Elevate Riddim project of 2023 brought together a vibrant collection of roots reggae tracks, each one adding its own color to the mix. The riddim featured seven standout songs: Busy Signal — Conscious Vibes, MediSun — African Children, Soul Rebel — Destiny, Delly Ranx — Celebrate, Chardel Rhoden — Happy Birthday, Makeda Moore — Rise, and Publik Report — Hold Your Breath. Each track rode the riddim’s laid-back groove, creating a cohesive yet diverse listening experience. Busy Signal’s Conscious Vibes stood out with his signature flow and sharp delivery. Busy Signal is well known for his hit song “Stay So,” which topped charts and brought him international recognition. MediSun’s African Children added a thoughtful message, while Soul Rebel’s Destiny delivered smooth vocals and uplifting lyrics. Delly Ranx, who has produced for top artists and released his own albums like “Good Profile,” contributed Celebrate, bringing his seasoned touch to the project. Chardel Rhoden’s Happy Birthday offered a lighter, joyful moment, and Makeda Moore’s Rise added a powerful female voice. Publik Report rounded out the set with Hold Your Breath, adding depth to the riddim’s lineup. Behind the project is STINGRAY RECORDS, a respected UK-based label founded in the late 1980s. Known for working with reggae legends and modern artists alike, Stingray has played a key role in the UK reggae scene, producing tracks for names like Dennis Brown and Freddie McGregor. Their experience ensured that Elevate Riddim carried both tradition and fresh energy. Even now, this roots project remains a highlight of reggae’s 2023 story.
