CR203 Records had this one moving on the kind of clean, glossy dancehall pulse ZJ Chrome has made his lane. The Dui Riddim arrived in 2014, and the title spells out the concept: dance under the influence, with a fast, party-first swing that leaves room for both singjay hooks and quick-fire shellings.

The lineup is strong and very much in step with that era of dancehall. Beenie Man rides it with “Do It To Me, ” Ding Dong turns the title phrase into “Dance Under The Influence (Dui), ” and Konshens and Mavado each come through with raw and clean versions of “Come Get This” and “Herbs, ” which tells you the riddim was being pushed for both street and radio use. Kalado’s “Jealousy In The Air” adds a sharper, more pointed voice to the juggling, while Voicemail and Overmarz keep the bounce playful with “Shell Weh” and “Dancing Phoenix. ” QQ’s “Wine And C*#K Up” fits the same urgent, waistline-driven energy.

What makes the riddim click is the pace: bright synths, heavy low end, and a crisp forward motion that favors dancefloor commands over slow-burn melody. Beenie Man brings veteran authority, Ding Dong gives it a club-dance edge, and Mavado and Konshens supply the rougher, more streetwise pressure that defined so much 2014 dancehall.
