Double Dip Riddim produced by Problematic Media 2024
Double Dip Overview
The story of the Double Dip Riddim started months before Carnival 2024. The carnival director gathered a team with one goal: to capture the pure happiness of soca music. They wanted a track base that would make people move, laugh, and celebrate together. Problematic Media, a well-known producer in the soca and dancehall scene, took the lead in the studio. With a history of shaping big Caribbean hits and working with top artists, Problematic Media focused on building a sound that felt like Carnival itself—full of energy, fun, and bright rhythms. Every beat and melody was crafted to bring out the joyful spirit of the season. Once the riddim was ready, two stars stepped in to add their voices. Nailah Blackman, famous for her powerful vocals and the hit “Banana,” brought her unique style to the project. Her song “Nailah Blackman — Banana Instrumental” also showed her range as an artist. Nailah had already made waves in the soca world with songs like “Baila Mami” and collaborations with Kes, and her presence guaranteed attention. Problem Child joined with his track “Problem Child — Must Bend.” Known for his energetic performances and songwriting skills, Problem Child had already made his mark with songs like “Party Animal.” His addition gave the riddim another burst of carnival spirit. When the Double Dip Riddim finally dropped, it quickly became a Carnival anthem in 2024. From the first note, it brought people together, filling the streets with dance and laughter—a true celebration of soca’s joyful side.
