Dopamine Riddim comes across as one of those Carnival-season soca packages that is less interested in polish for its own sake and more interested in motion. Taktikal Productions and All Black Music have put together a four-cut set with Seebo, Ambi, Mongster and Shankle Fever, and the name alone tells you the intent: this is music aimed at the rush, the lift and the quick-hit pleasure that soca is supposed to trigger on the road and in the fete. The release sits in 2026, which places it squarely in the run-up to the season rather than as a late afterthought.

Taktikal Productions is a name that has already appeared around Caribbean and soca-linked releases, while All Black Music has been active enough in the wider Caribbean digital space to keep turning up on recent riddim projects. Here, the pairing feels practical: one side shaping the musical frame, the other helping move it out into the market. The result is a riddim that plays like a clean, uptempo party driver rather than a heavy bass experiment. It has the clipped, forward-rolling feel that leaves room for the vocalists to ride the beat without crowding it.

The strongest attraction is the artist mix. Mongster is the most established name in the set, with a long Saint Lucian soca history and a catalog that people in the region already know. Ambi also brings Lucian pedigree and a voice that has long fit the sweeter, melodic side of soca. Seebo and Shankle Fever add newer or less widely documented angles, which gives the project a useful balance between familiarity and discovery.

Of the four cuts, Mongster’s “Whine Like So” is the obvious road-ready pull, the kind of tune that invites movement immediately. Ambi’s “No Comment” feels like the smoother counterweight, the song most likely to carry a playful or teasing energy rather than pure pressure. Seebo’s “Dopamine” is the title cut, so it functions as the riddim’s statement piece, while Shankle Fever’s “In Front Of Me” rounds things out with the kind of front-facing, direct soca phrasing that works well when the beat is moving briskly underneath.
