From there, the Grenada Ole Oil Riddim keeps its focus tight: Juanson D Artiste’s “Bad For We Ole Oil” leans into the jab-jab energy, while Mandella Linkz turns “Rum Story” into the kind of Carnival-side anecdote that hangs around after the truck passes. Gittens’ production has that raw Grenadian soca pulse — busy percussion, plenty of forward push, and just enough grit to keep it from sounding polished clean — and the title alone gives away the local frame of reference.
