Dolla Cab Riddim rolls out like a little slice of Trinidad dancehall history from 2002, with KMC at the helm through JW Productions and a compact five-cut line-up that keeps the focus tight. Gauge Treason’s “Yeah Yeah Yeah” and the KMC/Bud pairing on “Where Can I Find” lean into that early-2000s bashment energy, while “Jab Jab Coming Down” nods straight at Carnival street culture and gives the riddim its sharpest local flavour. There’s something appealing about how the project moves from playful bragging to raw party pressure without overcomplicating the groove, and even the oddly credited “Driving” and “Fire Fi Ah Gal” feel like part of that rough-edged charm, as if this one was cut fast, loud, and meant for the road.
