Dirty Desert Riddim – White Rubins

Dirty Desert Riddim comes with a tense, cut-to-the-bone dancehall pulse that doesn’t waste time getting to the point. White Rubins keeps the frame tight here, lining up six cuts in what looks like a compact 2001 juggling: Beenie Man’s “Fish, ” Granty Roots’ “War Around You, ” Lexxus’ “Come Fuss, ” Ryce Bitters’ “Get Near A Gal, ” and Sizzla’s title tune all ride the same сурly groove, with the version tucked in at the end. The set leans hard into streetwise chat and raw melody rather than any polished crossover move, which suits the riddim’s dusty, stripped-down feel.
