DIALYSIS RIDDIM produced by NIKO CHROMATIC 2017
Dialysis Overview
In 2017, the Dialysis Riddim came together in a Kingston studio, capturing the energy of the streets. The producer behind it, NIKO CHROMATIC, wanted to make something fresh but still true to dancehall roots. NIKO CHROMATIC, known for his work with Chromatic Sound, was already respected in the Jamaican music scene for his sharp ear and lively mixes. Sadly, he also became known for his battle with kidney disease, but his passion for music never faded. Inside the studio, the team worked hard to get every sound just right. The riddim’s beat had a rebellious spirit, with deep bass and catchy melodies that made it perfect for both parties and sound clashes. The artists on Dialysis Riddim each brought their own style. Bugle delivered "Cherish Life," a song full of meaning and hope. Bugle is well-known for his thoughtful lyrics and songs like "Rasta Party," which became a big hit in Jamaica. Jah Vinci added his voice to "Mek It Now." Jah Vinci first gained fame as part of Vybz Kartel’s Gaza crew and is known for his hit "Wipe Those Tears." His smooth vocals fit perfectly over the riddim. Rockaz Elements came with "Real And True," giving the project a raw and honest vibe. Their song added depth to the riddim, showing real emotions. Sicq Up’s "Nuh Happiness" brought a different flavor, mixing sharp lyrics with strong delivery. Dialysis Riddim was a highlight of 2017 dancehall.
