Released in 2020, Deep Soul Riddim from Inhouse Music is a six-track dancehall set that leans on conscious, uplifting themes and a compact vocal lineup. Fyah Konkarah opens with Make Away, while nichelous, Prominent, T, Turian, and Young Gangas each bring their own take across Gratitude, Ain’t Giving Up, Drive My Life, Give Thanks, and R. I. P. The project is short and focused, with all six songs handled by six different artists over the same rhythm, which gives it a clean showcase feel. Inhouse Music keeps the tone grounded and soulful here, and the release closes with Young Gangas’ R. I. P, one of the more memorable cuts on the set.
