Produced by Dabian/Dreadhawk Productions, Day One Riddim arrived in 2023 as a five-track reggae release with vocals from Dabian, Faith Callender, Saddis and Shaquille GFC. The set opens with Dabian’s Just As You Are and also features Faith Callender’s Friday, Saddis’ title track Day One and Shaquille GFC’s Make Me Feel Better. Faith Callender’s cut is a natural highlight, and the project keeps a compact, melodic flow across the different voices. Released at the start of 2023, it carries a fresh, new-year feel while keeping the arrangement centered on the same rooted Day One groove throughout.
