Clapazz comes in like a sharp, skittering dancehall juggling with plenty of room for the deejays to lean into the rhythm. Psyco Productionz keeps the sound lean and aggressive, and the line-up moves well across it: Gwadamann on “Anytime You Ready” gives it early heat, while Young Vengeance’s “Bougie Girl” and Smacky’s “Buss A Blank” push the energy into rougher, more street-facing territory. There are 14 tracks in all, with names like Velly, Silver D, and Enzo Aka Tèt Chajè adding to the mix, and the whole thing feels like a quick snapshot of 2013 dancehall in motion. Black-T and Phorein close it out with “War Declare” and “Nuh Bad Like We, ” a neat little final stretch tucked on at the end.
