Pot Of Gold’s Cinderella Riddim arrived in 1998 as a compact dancehall juggling with just three cuts and five artists, led by Adisa Baba’s Shu Bi Lu, Alley Cat and Honourable’s Them A Flip, and Wayne Wonder with Texture on Hotty Hotty Girls. The set is one of the rarer Pot Of Gold dancehall releases from that period, and Wayne Wonder’s appearance gives it an extra lift alongside the sharper Alley Cat link-up. The title track connection to Cinderella also ties into the label’s earlier Maniac/Cinderella association, which fans often remember from the late-’90s Pot Of Gold catalog.
