Cornel Campbell’s God Made Man to Fend for Himself, Danny Red’s Love is so Lovely, Jah Mason’s Whatever You Do, and Junior Delgado’s Garvey’s Philosophy give the set its backbone, while Earl Sixteen, Daley and Macka B link up on African Ship and Gussie P teams with Mafia and Fluxy for Goldfinger Dub Theme. With 20 tracks and 26 artists, the release moves between conscious singing and heavier instrumental work, and its identity comes from that mix of veteran singers, dub versions, and the slightly playful Billy Jean/Chim Cherrie theme running through the track names.
