Cannon Riddim was produced by Opera House Records in 1999 and packs a strong late-90s dancehall lineup with Boom Dandimite, Buccaneer and TOK, Frisco Kid, General Degree, Red Rat, and Spragga Benz featuring Greg Hines. The cut list runs from Fake and Rock And Pop Off to Vietnam, Row, Mi Bend, and Congregation, with the joint Buccaneer and TOK track giving the rhythm an extra lift. Opera House, linked here to Andrew Bradford, was active on a string of sharp dancehall projects around that period, and Cannon fits right into that run with its raw, sound-clash-friendly energy.
