Cabana Riddim sits a little differently from the usual high-voltage soca rush Vibez Productionz is associated with, leaning into a cleaner, more laid-back island groove that still leaves room for the bass to move. Released in January 2021, it runs seven tracks deep and keeps the guest list tight, with Adam O’s “I Need, ” Preedy’s “Riddim and Bass, ” and V’ghn and Cryave’s “Better Together” doing most of the heavy lifting. Arthur Allain’s “Wine on You” adds a smoother, more flirtatious turn, while Wildfire’s “Ride or Die” pushes the energy back up near the end.
