Harry J’s Bubbling Pot Vol. 1 feels a little different from the studio’s heavier late-’80s dancehall work: instead of leaning on one big star turn, it lines up a lively set of voices over a bright, bustling riddim that keeps the bass nimble and the drums snapping.
