Rayvon leads the charge on Brooklyn Riddim, and his “Blaze Up (Brooklyn Diesel)” is the cut that gives the project its sharpest profile, especially with the Spanish remix tucked right behind it. 21st Hapilos Digital Productions keeps the rhythm in straight dancehall territory, but the lineup moves through different angles of the style: Noah Powa’s “Word Hard” carries the hustler talk, Screechie Dan cools things down with “Nah Betray Mi Friends, ” and Red Foxx and Majah Hype add their own more playful, street-level turns. With 14 tracks and no wasted space, the set feels like a snapshot of 2013 dancehall’s digital era, when a riddim could pull in veterans, comic voices and younger names all at once.
