BRASS FEST RIDDIM produced by BASS INK PRODUCTION 2009
Brass Fest Overview
In 2009, a group of talented musicians and producers gathered in the studio to create something special for the island party scene. The project was led by an arranger known for bringing high energy and a fresh sound to soca music. He focused on catchy brass lines and rhythms that would keep partygoers moving all night. At the center of this release was BASS INK PRODUCTION, a label with a reputation for quality soca and dancehall tracks. BASS INK PRODUCTION had already made a name for itself in the Caribbean, helping to launch several popular riddims that DJs loved to play on repeat. The Brass Fest Riddim brought together three of soca’s biggest stars. Machel Montano (Hd) delivered "Doan Hold We Back," a track full of power and excitement. Machel Montano is one of the most influential soca artists, known for hits like "Fast Wine" and for winning multiple Road March titles at Trinidad and Tobago Carnival. Lil Rick added his own flavor with "Spread Out." Lil Rick is a celebrated artist from Barbados, famous for his energetic performances and songs like "Gym Instructor." His contribution to this riddim made sure the dancefloor stayed packed. Patrice Roberts completed the trio with "Turn It Up." Patrice is known for her strong voice and stage presence. She rose to fame with the hit "Band of the Year," a collaboration with Machel Montano. This release quickly became the heartbeat of 2009.
