The set landed in 2017, and the lineup keeps the energy varied without losing its shape, moving from the conscious lift of “Good People” and “Leave Babylon” into tougher-minded tunes like “Bad Mind” and “No Award. ” There’s a nice pull in hearing Kafinal’s “I Don’t Wanna Wait” and M Deon’s “Careless Whispers” back to back, because it gives the riddim a bit of emotional range before the closing stretch.
