Bellyfull Riddim – Furybass Sound

Warm and heavyweight, the Bellyfull Riddim feels like it came out of a proper roots session and then got sharpened for the dance, with Furybass Sound giving the set a firm, bass-first pulse. Million Stylez opens the circle with “Roots Of All Evil, ” and that cut sets the tone nicely beside Yami Bolo’s “Babylon System, ” which leans into the old-school rebel spirit the riddim seems to favor. Red Cat’s own “Bellyfull Rhythm” sits right at the center of it, while Virtus’ “Ragga Music Inna Mi Life” keeps the pace moving with a younger, more modern touch. It’s a compact four-track release, recorded across Sweden, Brooklyn, and Rome, and that little bit of movement gives it a wider-than-usual reggae reach.
