BARE TINGS RIDDIM 2009
Bare Tings Overview
When the Bare Tings Riddim was first built, the dancehall scene was ready for a fresh sound. The track builder behind this riddim made sure every beat hit hard and every melody had energy. The creative process took place in a small but busy studio, where the vibe was always right for making music that would move the crowd. The producer, well known in local circles for shaping dancehall hits, brought out the best in each artist. He worked closely with the track builder, fine-tuning the riddim until it was just right for the sound system cut. When the tape was ready, it was passed to selectors who knew how to make a session come alive. Kisko Hype stepped up first, delivering “From Then Until Now Ft. Trooper Traloopa.” His lyrical skill and unique voice stood out, and the collaboration with Trooper Traloopa added another layer of excitement. Trooper Traloopa, known for his energetic performances, also recorded his own version, “From Then Until Now Ft. Trooper Traloopa,” which quickly became a favorite at dances. Kapree brought a different flavor with “Whine And Wheel.” Fans already knew Kapree for his catchy hooks, especially after his earlier track “Bubble Up” made waves on regional charts. On Bare Tings Riddim, Kapree’s style fit perfectly, and his song soon had everyone moving. When the sound system cut dropped in 2021, it spread like wildfire. Bashment sessions across the island played it on repeat, and fans called it a new dancehall anthem.
