Baddam Riddim – Panama Music At Fat

Baddam Riddim sits in the early-2010s Panama dancehall wave, one of those compact six-cut sets where the local flavour matters as much as the individual songs. Panama Music At Fat lines up Akim, El Jb, Gabriel La Mente, Gypson, Mr Fox and Murder Cat over a brisk, Spanish-language bashment pulse that keeps the drums tight and the bassline lean, with “Mata Como Glock” and “El Tamaño No Importa” giving the project its sharpest edge. The whole thing has that street-level, no-frills energy Panama crews were pushing hard around 2013, and the release runs just six tracks in total, issued as a 2013 EP under At’ Fat.
