ARRIVAL RIDDIM produced by AICON/THEE KHEMIST 2022
Arrival Overview
The Arrival Riddim started as a creative spark in the studio, shaped by the vision of producer AICON, also known as THEE KHEMIST. AICON/THEE KHEMIST is no stranger to the scene—his work has made waves on streaming platforms, and he’s known for his unique blend of dancehall and reggae influences. With an ear for both streetwise energy and smooth melodies, he crafted a riddim that bridges old-school dancehall grit with a fresh 2022 vibe. Behind the mixing board, the “mixing board king” brought the riddim to life, balancing the raw and the refined. Each track was carefully layered to let every artist’s style shine through, creating a dynamic soundscape ready for both radio and dancehall sessions. Konshens leads with “Flirty Girl,” delivering the kind of sharp, catchy performance that fans expect from the artist behind hits like “Bruk Off Yuh Back.” Aicon & Thee Khemist join forces on “Big Trouble,” showing off their chemistry and lyrical flair, while Stone Bwoy’s version of “Big Trouble” adds his own twist—Stone Bwoy is well known for his international collaborations and his 2015 BET Award for Best International Act: Africa. Nessa Preppy & ZJ Liquid bring a smooth, melodic flow to “Beg & Bawl,” and Skinny Fabulous, celebrated for his Soca Monarch wins, adds energy with “Perfect Touch.” Alfray’s “Glow Fi Me,” Kalibwoy’s double shot with “Infinity War” and “Million Gyal,” and Fyah Bwoy Mw’s “Esa Diabla” round out the project, each adding their own flavor. Even now, the Arrival Riddim brings back the spirit of 2022, blending hardcore deejay cuts with smooth vocals—a true dancehall standout.
