By 2021, dancehall was leaning hard into lean, sharp-edged riddims with plenty of space for deejays to mark their territory, and Ar-15 fits right into that mood with a five-track set from Levels To Life Productions and Kennedy Clan Entertainment. Elboss’s “Simple Tease” and Kleenboss’s “Crime Scene” do a lot of the heavy lifting here, while Kash Promise Move on “Gvnman Segment” and Kiko Di Hype1 on “Money Talk” keep the energy clipped and direct over a straight-to-the-point production that runs just under 13 minutes altogether. Flamzz rounds things out with “Specialist, ” so the whole project stays tight, no filler, just five cuts, five artists, and a clean 2021 EP sequence: “Simple Tease, ” “Gvnman Segment, ” “Specialist, ” “Money Talk, ” and “Crime Scene. ”
