April Baby Riddim – Mcity Musik

Mcity Musik lets Zzero Sufuri’s “Toto” and Rufnek’s “How Badness Works” do a lot of the heavy lifting here, because those cuts carry the kind of sharp, streetwise energy that gives April Baby Riddim its bite. The set keeps the focus tight: seven tracks, eight voices, and a spare instrumental from Mcity Musik and Eyuh Chino that leaves enough room for the deejays to cut through without crowding the groove.
