Animated Gangsta Riddim from Triple L Crew Records has that early-2010s dancehall snap: hard-edged, digital, and made for voices with attitude. Alozade comes in sharp on “Video Light, ” while Lukie D’s “More Money” leans into the money-talk side of the project with a smoother, more melodic cut that still sits nicely on the riddim. Shane O’s “Buss a Sweat” and Wasp’s “Wi Nu Fraid” keep the energy up, so the set never feels one-note even with that gangsta-heavy title. Triple L Crew also closes things out with its own version, which is a neat touch on a 14-track release that first surfaced in 2011 and caught a good spread of singers and DJs across the yard.
