The short tracklist keeps the focus tight, with Peter Tosh and The Wailers’ 1965 cut Amen and Brother Marshall and Brentford Road Choir’s later 1968 version giving the riddim a direct link between ska-era roots and the label’s deeper gospel lean. Dodd’s Studio One imprint was already one of Kingston’s most important hit factories by then, and this release shows how effectively the same foundation could carry both a Wailers tune and a choir-led interpretation.
