Magikal’s “Dutty Dutty” feels like the grabber here, kicking off Alien Radio Riddim with the kind of bright, fast-moving soca energy that makes the whole six-track set click into place. Boss Raw Records keeps the lineup tight—DJ Blaze, Rich Kydd, Scarbz and Treezy Jay all get a clean run over the same 80 BPM groove, with Suhrawh’s instrumental at the end letting the riddim breathe a little after the vocal cuts. There’s a sleek, futuristic edge to the title and the pacing, but the pull is still pure dancefloor soca, especially on “Show Me” and “We Don’t Play. ” A neat, compact June 11, 2024 release, and the kind of riddim that leaves you wanting one more cut.
