4th Genna World Riddim came through in 2016 from 4th Genna Music, with Zack Ariyah Productions also credited on the digital release. It sits squarely in the mid-2010s dancehall wave that prized sharp, militant drum programming and dark, street-facing hooks over lush melody. The EP runs five cuts long and landed on November 4, 2016.

The lineup is compact but pointed: Ryme Minista on “Dark Up The Place, ” Teejay on “Born Bad, ” Aidonia on “Pepperoni, ” Shokryme on “Hell Fire, ” and Govana on “Glock 17. ” That last pairing matters, because Govana and Aidonia were both in a strong run at the time, and the riddim gives them room to work their tougher, warning-shot style. Teejay sounds especially at home here too, riding the beat with that laid-back, clipped delivery that later became one of his signatures.
