The producer behind this project, L.R.R PRODUCCIONES (KITRA), played a key role. Known for their work in Latin American reggae, KITRA and their label have supported many artists and helped reggae grow in Spanish-speaking countries. The recording process for Reggae Alerta Riddim focused on live instruments and real percussion, capturing the roots feel of reggae from earlier decades.
