By the time Mad Collab Riddim landed in 2019, it already had that compact, workshop feel of a small producer-led soca set: three tunes, all aimed at the dance, with no wasted motion. The cut moves on a brisk 157 BPM pulse and keeps the arrangement tight enough for crowd call-and-response, but there’s enough grit in the percussion and synth stabs to keep it from sounding sugary. Dose and Mac-I’s “Epic Moments” and Hypa 4000 with Caspa G’s “Gyalist” both lean into the party pressure, while Rockers Crew’s “Hurricane” closes things out with the most forceful hook of the bunch, which suits a riddim that seems built for movement rather than polish.
