Road Trip Overview

In 2016, the island beat of soca music was everywhere, especially during street parades. One sound that stood out on the parade routes was the Road Trip Riddim. This riddim was produced by ADVOKIT PRODUCTIONS, a well-known label in the soca scene. The label is recognized for its fresh approach to modern soca music and has helped shape the sound of many popular street festivals. On the Road Trip Riddim, several artists made their mark. Advokit, known for his energetic style, performed the song Pretty. Advokit Productions, the team behind the riddim, also released their own version titled Road Trip Riddim. Dale Ryan, another strong voice on the project, brought his song Find Meh to the mix. Dale Ryan is respected in the soca world for his songwriting and catchy hooks.
