Kiprich and Kym Hamilton give Drop Riddim its sharpest pull, with “Bottle Cork” sitting at the centre of a compact eight-track set that leans into sly, mid-tempo dancehall rather than anything overly flashy. Brick Fence Productions keeps the sequence tidy: J Ice’s “A Nuh Wash Over, ” JahJah and Ashea’s “Pure Pleasure, ” Khama’s “Spend Pon You, ” then the Kiprich/Kym Hamilton pairing before Kym Hamilton’s solo “Want You” and Pamputae’s “Oh My! ! ! ” closing things out in both clean and raw versions. That split treatment also appears on the Pamputae cut, while the full project runs just 21 minutes. Released on November 14, 2014, Drop Riddim collects six songs from six artists under the Brick Fence Productions banner.
