Straight out of the 2013 dancehall run, Live 4eva Riddim carries that earnest, keep-it-moving energy Nuchie Records was aiming for, with a dozen cuts and a clean 91 BPM pulse that lets the vocals do the heavy lifting. Dj Andru’s “When The Rain A Fal” and Flexx’s “Nah Give Up” lean into the uplifting side of the theme, while Neisa’s “I Can Be Your Number One” and Mr Bertus’ “Live Mi Life” bring a softer, more reflective edge to the same rhythm bed. Nuchie even steps in with “Live In Jamaica, ” which feels like the producer stamping the project with a little hometown confidence.
