Sound Quake Records’ Whopper Riddim dates to 1995, a compact dancehall set with just one clearly listed vocal cut, Junior Vibes’ Hurt My Feelings, plus a version. With only two tracks on the release, it has the stripped-down, no-frills feel that marked plenty of mid-90s sound system dancehall, where the focus stayed on the groove and the vocal hook.
