Amenko’s “Badman” feels like the sharpest cut on Wakanda Riddim, and it’s the kind of tune that lets D. Dan Production’s 2021 dancehall set do its thing without overcomplicating the picture. The nine-song lineup keeps a local, no-frills energy across the board, with Brewsie, Lyrical Mamba and Icy LInk each finding a different pocket on the same rhythm — Brewsie’s title track has that streetwise bounce, while Icy LInk’s “We Go Make It” leans a little more hopeful and forward-looking.
