Waka Riddim – Russian Movements

Russian Movements’ Waka Riddim came out in 2020 as a three-track dancehall release with Blak Ryno on La Aye Mama, Freezy and Michael Robinson on Sa Feb, and Blackboy on Ou Ni Mweh. The riddim leans into a compact, straight-to-the-point format, and the mix of solo and teamed-up vocals gives it a little extra variety without stretching past its core dancehall feel. Russian Movements also carries the production credit across the project, and the release sits neatly among that 2020 run of Caribbean riddim drops.
