Vibration (2002) Release Details

Mid-2002, CPR-1 Records kept it lean on Vibration Riddim, a four-cut rootsy set that leans on melody and heavyweight voices rather than a crowded lineup. Afayah’s title tune carries the riddim’s name with a straightforward, devotional feel, while Gregory Isaacs brings the late-night sweetness on “Save Some Loving” and Sugar Minott’s “Victory” adds that warm, veteran glow that always made him so easy to lock into. The instrumental version is in there too, so you can hear how the pattern breathes on its own. With only three vocal cuts and a dub, it feels like one of those tidy early-2000s releases that kept reggae’s foundation sound moving without any fuss.
