Vex Riddim – The Chemist Records

Released in 2020, Vex Riddim from The Chemist Records is a dancehall set with seven cuts and six different artists, led by Versi’s Lock Dung in both raw and clean versions. Ras T and Raz Lee bring Fulla Style in raw and clean takes as well, while Kappa’s Money Flow, Focus’s She Seh, and Starrr Doll’s Get Tek round out the project. The release leans into a straightforward dancehall groove and the duplicate raw/clean pairings give it a little extra DJ-friendly flexibility, which is a familiar touch from a label focused on compact, mix-ready riddim packages.
