Vestige 758 Riddim from Vibez Productionz arrived in 2016 as a St. Lucia-rooted soca project led by Miguel “Migz” Joseph, and it lines up seven vocal cuts around the title instrumental and mega mix. Arthur’s Vintage Whine, Sedale’s D’Junction, Shemmy J’s My City, Toya’s Mas We Come to Play, Imran Nerdy’s D’Mung, and WiLDFIRE’s Dong Deh give the set its shape, with Dong Deh and the mega mix helping the release feel geared for Carnival play. The riddim was issued through FOX FUSE and was described as a vintage-styled groove built around local talent, which fits the warm, party-ready feel of the whole package.
