Vamping Riddim – Stockroom Productionz

Stockroom Productionz had already carved out a little run of soca riddims by the time Vamping landed in 2018, and this one keeps the focus tight: just three cuts, with Skarpyon’s “Therapy” and Stamina Smurf’s “We Own It” riding a short, punchy framework before the producer’s own instrumental closes it out. It’s a lean package, but that’s part of the charm, with the two vocal tracks doing the heavy lifting and the instrumental giving the riddim room to breathe on its own. Released on April 27, 2018, Vamping sits in that late-April Carnival-season pocket where soca releases are doing their job in the middle of the annual build-up, and Stockroom’s catalog at the time was already pointing toward more of this brisk, club-ready style.
