Turn It Up Riddim – Young Pow Productions

Turn It Up Riddim was released in 2020 by Young Pow Productions, pairing seven dancehall cuts with a mix of rising voices and veteran names. Kabaka Pyramid’s Tribulation and Mykal Rose’s Weed Plan anchor the set, while Answele’s title track, Focus by Irie Souljah, and Gary Nesta Pine’s Mama Africa help round out the lineup. Young Pow had already been building the project around that period, and the release also introduced Answele as a newcomer tied to his camp. The riddim keeps a tight seven-track format and brings together contributors from Jamaica and beyond, giving the juggling a clear international edge.
