Tipsy Riddim arrived in 2024 from Alienation Muzik and Monk Music as a tight three-track soca set featuring Hey Choppi’s Single, Chalmer John’s I Alone, and Joshua Regrello featuring Andre J Donawa on Calypsoul. Released on November 28, 2024, the project leans into a Carnival-ready feel, with each artist bringing a different angle to the same riddim and keeping the lineup compact rather than crowded. Hey Choppi’s cut adds the catchiest hook in the set, Chalmer John brings a smoother vocal turn, and Calypsoul adds a steelpan-laced edge through Andre J Donawa’s contribution. Monk Music’s involvement also fits neatly here, given its strong links to Trinidad’s soca lane.
