Nadia Batson’s “Sweetest Feeling” gives Tilt Riddim, Pt. 2 its strongest opening shot, and it’s the kind of tune that sits nicely over a bright, springy soca groove with enough bounce to keep the waistline moving. Lyrikal’s “Soca Forever” leans more anthem-like, all chant-ready confidence and party-room energy, while Baron’s “Runnin’ Red” keeps the pace up with a rougher, more playful edge. Chinese Laundry Music keeps the arrangement tight and uncluttered here, letting the percussion and bass do the heavy lifting instead of crowding the vocal lines. Coming in late 2021, this one fits right into that post-Carnival stretch when soca producers were still chasing high-energy, radio-friendly cuts that could travel well beyond the season.
