A lean, speaker-rattling dancehall cut with a clipped, urgent pulse and just enough space for the vocals to jab through, The Process Riddim keeps its shape tight across four tracks: Itz-Beez-Da TrackStar’s title cut, IcyLink’s “My Life, ” Lyrical Mamba’s “Cold, ” and Brewsie’s “Eva Hot. ” Released in May 2021 as a four-song TrackStar Media Group project, it doesn’t waste time chasing variety for its own sake; the energy comes from how each artist leans into the same hard-edged backdrop a little differently. IcyLink sounds especially locked in on “My Life, ” but Brewsie’s “Eva Hot” lands with the sharpest charge, the kind of hook that hangs around after the riddim stops.
