Shawn “Mr. Roots” Mitchell, who had already built a name in Grenada’s soca scene and as a bassist, keeps the production punchy and lean rather than crowded, letting the groove do the heavy lifting. “Di Most” by Patrice Roberts feels like the anchor track, while “Buggy Ride” and “Back So” keep the pace moving with that jab-style, bacchanal-ready pressure.
