Anthony B gets the first pull here with “Hotness, ” and that’s the right way into Talk About Love Riddim, because the 2003 Fire Ball Records set leans on a strong run of rootsy, late-period voices rather than any one marquee gimmick. Anthony Cruz, Bushman, Da’Ville, Jah Mali, Leroy Smart, Louie Culture, Lukie D and Singing Melody all take turns over the same cut, with Da’Ville’s “Nobody” and Jah Mali’s “Conquer” sitting especially well in the middle of the sequence.
